Flyer stating "writing resources" in the center with graphics in bright colors. Instagram handle @drwriteaid and website drwriteaid.com are listed at the bottom.

Over the past eight years doing my Ph.D. and working with clients, I’ve compiled a long list of writing resources that I’ve used for my own writing and in writing consultations. I categorize them into three topics: 1) general writing guides, 2) career-related guides, and 3) research.

Way before I started Dr. Write-Aid, I had listed everything in one page on my personal website, doreenhsu.wordpress.com, but now that I’ve started my own business, it’s about time I updated and reorganized everything. I’ve also added short comments to explain what I like about them!

I hope to keep this list updated, so please feel free to email me at doreen@drwriteaid.com if any links are broken or if you have suggestions for other resources.

If you find this list helpful, please share with your friends, students, colleagues, and so on!

I hope to compile my next writing resource masterlist for career-related projects – for writing CVs, resumes, cover letters, academic job application documents, and more!

What are some writing guides or resources you enjoy using? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading!
