Editing Details

• I provide comprehensive developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading, which covers big-picture issues like overall clarity and sentence-level details like grammar.
• Depending on the length, type, and complexity of your draft, I will provide you with an estimated time frame for me to finish editing your work. If your project is on a tighter deadline and you need your work edited sooner than the time estimate, I may charge an additional fee or raise my rate to ensure priority.
• The 30-minute virtual consultation is intended for us to discuss your project, answer questions, and review the edits. However, if you don’t feel the need to meet, we don’t have to do the consultation. You will still be charged the same price.
• If your project would be less than the minimum fee based on the rate, you will be charged the minimum fee for edits on that project.
• The minimum fee and 30-minute consultation applies to each document. If you would like edits on multiple drafts, please let me know.
• Price includes professional, high-quality editing that covers big-picture issues and sentence-level details. Price covers my work in reviewing and understanding your draft, making edits, and a 30-minute consultation to ensure the edits are genuine to your voice and to address your questions.
